Reflexology

What Are the Benefits of Reflexology?

Many doctors, consultants and health care professionals now recognize Reflexology as a well established, accepted and respected therapy, effective for many health complaints. Extensive medical research has been conducted with regard to illness and disease with positive results recorded.

A very commonly reported benefit of Reflexology is that it induces a deep sense of relaxation.  A relaxed state of mind and body then assists the body in restoring itself to a state of balance.

As with any therapy, there may be medical conditions where certain treatments such as Reflexology are not advisable.  Should this be the case, it be communicated to you by the reflexologist at the time of treatment.

Reflexology is suitable for all ages, from toddler to the elderly, and may bring relief from a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.  After completing a course of Reflexology treatments for a specific condition, many people find it beneficial to continue with regular treatments in order to maintain health and well-being.

Often, people include Reflexology as part of their schedule for preventative maintenance, and as a means of stress reduction and maintaining a balance of their physical, emotional and mental well-being.

Reflexology treatments often quickly ease aches and pains in the areas treated. It has been shown to be effective for:
