ReikiFrequency & Cost of Treatments
The extent of each Reiki treatment will vary depending upon circumstances and the individual receiving treatment. Typically, treatments may last for an hour or longer. A sequence of therapy is often recommended, especially for chronic and longstanding conditions.
If the recipient is elderly or currently on a regime of medication, treatments may be of shorter duration and more often. Children are also often treated for shorter duration if they exhibit a short attention span.
The cost of Reiki treatments vary based on both the location and practitioner (and whether the practitioner is classed as a Reiki Master). Treatments can range from $50/hour to over $100/hour. As Reiki is not a healing method which is covered by traditional health insurance, before beginning a course of treatments it is important to ask the practitioner to help you determine the cost for the entire course.
