What Special Equipment is Used?
No special equipment is needed to practice Reiki. It can be given/received anywhere. Only the hands of the practitioner are a requirement for treatment.
Sometimes, Reiki practitioners use various crystals during a healing, each of which correspond to the 7 energy centers (chakras) of the body. Practitioners will often use a table, massage table, therapy bed, or similar device for the comfort of the client. The client is comfortably clothed in loose clothing, unless the Reiki practitioner combines massage therapy with the treatment.
