Acupressure

How Will I Feel After a Treatment?

After an Acupressure session, some people may feel soreness at the acupoints. People may also feel temporarily lightheaded. Your body heat may be lowered, therefore you may feel a little cold. As blockages to vital energy throughout the body have been released, the body focuses inward to maximize healing.

While undergoing therapy for one symptom, other symptoms may spontaneously begin resolving themselves. This is a very common side benefit reported by clients who have undertaken energy treatments such as Acupressure, Acupuncture, Reiki and Quantum Touch, illustrating the beneficial effects of balancing the energy within the entire body.

For a period of 24 hours after an Acupressure treatment, it is very important not to not engage in strenuous activities such as aerobics to allow the body to adjust to the stimulation of energy experienced both during and after the treatment.
