Acupuncture

How Will I Feel After a Treatment?

When performed by a properly trained and licensed practitioner, Acupuncture is very safe, effective, and free from any side effects. Occasionally, an acupoint may feel tender after the treatment, but this sensation fades quickly. Quite often, a sense of relaxation and well-being occurs both during and after treatments.

While undergoing therapy for one symptom, other symptoms may spontaneously begin resolving themselves. This is a very common side benefit reported by clients, illustrating the beneficial effects of balancing the energy within the entire body.

For a period of 24 hours after an Acupuncture treatment, it is very important not to not engage in strenuous activities such as aerobics to allow the body to adjust to the stimulation of energy during the treatment.
