Yoga
Yoga is a Sanskrit word derived from the Sanskrit root "yuj" which means to "unite" or "integrate."
Yoga is a way of life aimed at the union of a person's own consciousness and the universal consciousness, achieved through balancing the body, mind and spirit. In the western world, it is traditionally thought of in more limiting terms as a set of exercises composed of various poses, some of which are performed in flowing sequences.
Yogi
A person who practices various and intensive forms of Yoga and meditation to achieve spiritual insight and tranquility. This designation is usually reserved for advanced practitioners
